Abu Zafar Md. Khorshed Alam Chowdhury is a dynamic and enthusiastic agriculturist having over 20 years work experience in different agricultural sectors under different international, multinational and national organizations. He has over 17 years breeding experience for hybrid variety development of different vegetables. He has also experienced in transgenic (Bt) hybrid eggplant variety development program in Bangladesh for the first time. He always likes to face any challenging assignment where there is an opportunity to earn honestly, to learn, grow flourish his knowledge, skills and creativity and to lead in a way that best serve the purpose of the organization financially and strategically. Currently he is responsible for research, production, demonstration, training for growers, stuffs on production, processing, liasion and foreign business of seed in Aus-Bangla Agro.

• Training on extraction and transformation of Bt gene in TNAU, India.
• Training on transformation of Bt gene in Bangladeshi eggplant material.
• Training on different biotechnological and entomological aspect related with transgenic eggplant.
• Training on resistant management in TNAU, India.
• Training on biosafety organized by FAO in New Delhi, India.
• Training on confined and open field trial of transgenic crops in IARI, India.
• Training on GM crops in ICRISAT, India.
• Different training on hybrid seed production technology in Bangladesh.
• Training on biotechnology and biosafety organized by FAO.
• Attending in International Training Workshop on Crop Seed Technology for Developing Countries, organized by Ministry of Science and Technology, The Peoples republic of China.
• Training on vegetable breeding in AVRDC, Thailand.
• Training on modern seed drying technology.
• Training on Hybridity test using PCR and marker assisted breeding.

• Attend in 2008 to 2016 APSA congress.
• Attend in various international and National conference and seminar specially related with seed, biotechnology and biosafety.
• Actively participation for the development of Biosafety Framework and Guideline for Bangladesh Government.
